Perceived obstacles to gender equality

Solution

This dataset focused on gender inequality the countries were asked to choose from a list of reasons which they believe are the main reasons why women may not be equal to men in their country.

I obtained the Excel file from data.world and imported that into Tableau. I created a dual bar graph along with a filter and background designed by me using Canva to display the data.

Conclusion

Looking at this dashboard it is clear that all of these reasons are obstacles to gender equality. However, you can easily see the difference in responses based on the country, which is interesting. The different cultures that are present in the various countries contribute heavily to the responders' way of thinking.
